Educational Objectives

Based on the national educational goals, the program upholds the values of truth, goodness, and beauty as the foundation of art education.

Curriculum Structure

The department’s curriculum is designed to reflect local cultural characteristics while cultivating professional talent with modern sculptural creativity. The four-year program consists of two major components: academic and studio-based courses.

Academic courses include art history and professional theory, aiming to strengthen students’ understanding of art history and theoretical foundation.

Studio-based courses are divided into fundamental training, professional creative development, and tutorial guidance, focusing on technical skills and the cultivation of creative thinking.

In the second year, the curriculum emphasizes the development of foundational sculptural techniques alongside theoretical learning, establishing a solid base in sculptural concepts and practices.

The third and fourth years focus on creative training and intellectual development, aiming to build a personal conceptual framework and foster the ability to carry out independent artistic creation.
