About the Exhibition|
The Annual Sculpture Exhibition is a significant moment for students of the Department of Sculpture to reflect on their learning journey and creative progress. Each year’s exhibition builds on previous experiences and technical foundations, incorporating new techniques and inspirations acquired during the academic year. The works on display not only demonstrate technical growth but also reflect the students’ passion and perseverance in artistic exploration. It is this ever-evolving creative expression that breathes unique vitality and tension into the exhibition.
The exhibition is categorized into five major media: metal, stone, wood, modeling, and mixed media. There are no size restrictions, encouraging diverse development and inspiring students to create freely and push their limits. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Department’s student association, with selection conducted by department faculty and invited external experts. Final selections are showcased in the on-campus galleries. Additionally, full-time and adjunct faculty members will present their recent works, offering students further opportunities for learning and dialogue.
Special thanks to Lihpao Group, New Taipei 32 Cultural and Educational Foundation, and Green Art Development Corporation for their generous support. With the motivation of the exhibition, the quality of student works continues to rise. Around 80 works participate in the annual competition, featuring a rich variety of themes, bold creativity, and dynamic presentations—vividly expressing the spirit and energy of a new generation of artists.
We sincerely invite you to join us in witnessing the creative achievements of emerging young artists!
